Our mission is to offer a high guality engineering education at world standards by creating leading knowledge with original research in our area and to graduate engineers who

Educational Objectives

Kadir Has University Department of Computer Engineering aims to graduate engineers who

  1. can solve the problems by using the knowledge of the basic science, discrete mathematics, basic engineering and computer engeering, and can have  the questioning, creative and research oriented minds,
  2. can use the modern engineering techniques and equipments and can develop the information technologies,  as well as  analyze, design  and manage the hardware and software aspects of  the computer systems,
  3. can define the complex problems, collect data, interpret data and can be able to analyze, develop the models and provide effective solutions  for the problems,
  4. can develop the ability to perform experiments at the labs for the engineering problems,
  5. can have the ability to work on multidisciplinary subjects with team as well as indivually,  can develop the realistic design projects and can present his/her solutions  effectively,
  6. can communicate very well in written and oral form, can follow up the international developments in his/her fields productively,
  7. can understand the importance of live long learning, can follow  the computer science and technological advancements  and renew himself/herself continously,
  8. can follow the contemporary issues and can be sensitive to the local and  global problems, can understand the impact of the engineering solutions on the ethical and legal results,
  9. can be knowledgable about the project and the business application of the project, the quality control of the products with entrepreneur inspirations.

Program Outcomes

  1. Ability to apply the knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering principles to solve problems in computer engineering,
  2. Ability to understand and apply discrete mathematics,
  3. Ability to define complex engineering problems, collect, analyze data,  analyze problems and develop models and implement solutions  for the engineering problems,
  4. Ability to analyze, design and manage the hardware/software computer system requirements  with limited resources and conditions by modern engineering principles,
  5. Ability to use modern engineering techniques, tools and information technologies and develop software equipment and software,
  6. Ability to conduct lab experiments by using computers and to have the ability of collecting data, analyze, interpret data and to solve engineering problems,
  7. Ability to work on multidisciplinary topics with teams as well as individually,
  8. Ability to communicate  in Turkish and English very well in the written and oral form,
  9. Ability to follow international works in his or her field,
  10. Ability to follow technological innovations and to engage in life-long learning in order to adapt himself/herself to the changing conditions of the future with professional and ethical responsibility,
  11. Ability to make a difference about the project management, entrepreneurship and quality control,
  12. An understanding of current/contemporary issues and impact of engineering solutions in legal and ethical levels
